  1. ^ The Russian Academy of Natural Sciences (RANS) is an all-Russian public, creative scientific organization, which unites scientists of all directions, naturalists, creators of science-intensive technologies, and humanitarian workers, who are moved by the common desire to promote self-expression of a creative personality, development of education, expansion of fundamental and applied scientific research, formation of the civil society in Russia.

    Russian Academy of Natural Sciences operates on the basis of its Charter and within the framework of the Russian Federation legislation. The Academy is a legal entity and in accordance with the established order it carries out scientific, economic and foreign economic activities. The Academy consists of sections, regional and thematic departments, scientific centers, associations and small institutes. The Academy was accredited to the United Nations on January 17, 1995, and in July 2002 RANS was granted the status of a non-governmental organization at the UN – NGO (Non-governmental organization) in Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations.

  2. ^ International Informatization Academy is a public organization, which according to its statute includes scientists, specialists, state and public figures, promoting the development of information technologies and processes in all sectors of economy, information and production activities in all fields of science, informatization of society, providing information-intensive resources, creating a single global information space. Since 1994 the Academy has a status of associate member of the UN Department of Public Information, and since 1995 – General Consultative Status of the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). With the support of heads of state and government, governors and mayors of cities, national and regional Academies of Information Science and functional (branch) departments in the subjects of the Russian Federation have been established. The purpose of the Academy is to promote the development, formation and coordination of a single world information space open to all countries and peoples, based on the latest achievements of scientific and technological progress, forecasting trends in information policy.
  3. ^ The International Academy for Economic and Social Development is a non-profit and independent association based in Rome and Brussels. The mission of the International Academy is to contribute to the creation of a global ethic, which must become a common matrix for a new economic order and a paradigm for long-term development based on an intercultural and interdisciplinary dialogue, and on the interaction between state, market and society.

  5. ^ This medal is awarded to scientists and specialists of medical institutions of scientific profile, practical doctors of medical institutions, and specialists in the field of organization of health care, who had great success in strengthening the health of the population. The award is certified by an honorary diploma of the established form.
  6. ^ The K.E. Tsiolkovsky Academy of Cosmonautics is a public scientific organization on cosmonautics. In October 1990 the members of the initiative group F.P. Kosmolinsky and V.P. Senkevich developed the fundamental document "Proposals on the establishment of the RSFSR Academy of Cosmonautics" and its supplement "Proposals on the Academy Charter". F.P. Kosmolinsky, B.N. Kantemirov, V.P. Senkevich, A.D. Ursul, A.M. Nikulin, and then others initiated the creation of the Academy.

    The Founding Assembly of the Tsiolkovsky Academy of Cosmonautics was held in the Moscow Planetarium on March 28, 1991. Tsiolkovsky Academy. Then were formed the main directions of its activities, structure and initial composition in the form of thematic departments, united in directions, headed by vice-presidents. Since 1991 the work of K.E. Tsiolkovsky Academy of Cosmonautics is headed by the President and the Presidium.
    Since June 16, 1999 the Academy of Cosmonautics named after K.E. Tsiolkovsky was given the name "Russian".

  7. ^ The Professional Psychotherapeutic League (PPL) is an association of a new type, professional in psychotherapy and practical and consulting psychology. The world's largest Russian-speaking professional community with participants from 28 countries.

    The All-Russian Professional Psychotherapeutic League (hereinafter referred to as OPLP or League) unites specialists in the field of psychotherapy, practical psychology and psychological consultation. As well as those being trained in this profession. In its field the League is the largest, most active and influential professional community in Russia. It is also represented in more than 15 countries.

    The League creates a creative atmosphere of cooperation and complementary development for specialists from different schools and fields of psychotherapy and counseling. The League holds unique in its significance and public resonance congresses and scientific and practical conferences, congresses of specialists of regional, federal, continental and continental levels.

  8. ^ Grigori Grabovoi's doctorate degrees and professorships were not certified by the Higher Attestation Commission, HAC (Высшая Аттестационная Комиссия, ВАК) state body, but by the HAQC and the HIAC independent, nonprofit organizations.

    The Higher Attestation and Qualification Committee, HAQC (Высший Аттестационно-Квалификационный Комитет, ВАКК), an independent, public nonprofit organization, was registered in 1999 with the main scope of activity "Other scientific research and development in the field of natural and technical sciences".

    In 2002, V. P. Seregina, doctor of jurisprudence, professor, Head of the Secretariat of the Deputy Chairman of the State Duma published an analysis of the legal foundations of the Higher Interacademic Attestation Commission, HIAC (Высшая Межакадемическая Аттестационная Комиссия, ВМАК). According to HIAC's international legal background, the international convention on the recognition of studies, diplomas and certificates in higher education in Asia and the Pacific was adopted in Bangkok in 1983 in accordance with the UNESCO Constitution. It was the first international convention under the auspices of UNESCO to recognize state and non-state certification bodies as equivalent to diplomas issued in their name. According to the convention, „...the contracting states further undertake to take all necessary measures to speed up the effective functioning of these non-state national certification bodies”. In 1990, the Soviet Union also made the provisions of the convention into law. In 1996, the Higher Expert Qualification Committee, HEQC (Высший Зкспертно - Квалификационный Комитет, ВЗКК) was established as an independent, nonprofit organization, whose founders included many state organizations, such as the Ural State Technical University.

    The main tasks of the HEQC by statute are:

    • determination of the list of specialties in which specialists of the highest qualification are trained, and awarding academic degrees and titles according to the nomenclature of specialties approved by the Presidium of the International Interacademic Union.
    • methodological management of dissertation councils related to the performance of the functions of awarding academic titles through a special subdivision – the Higher Interacademic Attestation Commission, HIAC (Высшая Межакадемическая Аттестационная Комиссия, ВМАК).
    • implementation of activities related to the mutual recognition (nostrification) of diplomas of higher education and academic degrees and titles.

    Non-state diplomas and certificates issued on the basis of a HIAC certificate are completely legal, equivalent to a state certificate, and do not require special recognition.

  9. ^ World Distributed University (WDU) is a functional university of the International Academy of Informatization (IAI) at the General Consultative Council of UN ECOSOC established in 1997-1998, the University provides training MS (Master of Science) in global issues. This university also has a distributed structure.

  12. ^ The International Academy for the Integration of Science and Business (IAISB) is the legal successor of the International Academy of Sciences (IAS), which was founded on January 25, 1989, and which had been functioning so far under different names, in particular, as the public scientific association without establishing a legal entity "International Academy for the Integration of Science and Business" (from 1996 to 1999). Then it was decided to register the Academy as a legal entity. Founders were both legal persons – Institute for Market Problems of RAS, Geophysical Center of RAS, Moscow Energetic Institute (Technical University), State Research Institute of Chemistry and Technology of Organoelement Compounds, MNTK "Microsurgery of Eye", International Foundation for Integration, Science, Culture and Business, Institute of World Economy, AO "Biomed" named after Mechnikov, State Aeronautical Information Center, Gorbachev Foundation, etc, and individuals – E.V. Ametistov, E.V. Volkov, M.S. Gorbachev, P.M. Grechko, Y.Z. Mesenzhik, S.G. Miftakhutdinov, A.N. Moiseev, N.Y. Petrakov, S.N. Fedorov, E.A. Chernyshev. Later on it was decided to keep the former status of the Academy as the most convenient for the Academy and expedient in terms of tasks it faces. At present time the Academy is a public non-commercial organization without establishing a legal entity.
    The main goal of IAISB is to support promising scientific and technical projects, to provide all possible assistance to the Academy members in their creative work, and to build bridges between scientific achievements and business. IAISB provides free of charge consultancy and information support to promote promising scientific developments, including those in the field of improvement of management, pedagogy, medicine, problems of nutrition, technology, physical culture and sports, business security, etc. Some of the most important directions of the Academy’s activity at present are the creation of an organizational-economic model of tolerant (in accordance with the laws of universal development) health care system and global system "Uniolymp", development under the guidance of MAISU of the theory of space safety, development and application of nanotechnology, string technologies, laser technologies in endosurgery, etc.
    Among the members of the Academy there are many world-renowned scientists from various fields of science, technology, education, economics, medicine, cultural figures, statesmen, heads of major industrial, financial and other organizations, who have great experience in practical work under the conditions of Russia's integration into the world economic system.
  13. ^ The International Academy of Authors of Scientific Discoveries and Inventions is an international creative union of inventors and authors of scientific discoveries of Russia and foreign countries. The Academy contributes to consolidation of intellectual potential of the most dynamic part of society contributing to development of Russia and world technical progress, to dissemination and use of the most significant achievements, professional consolidation of scientists and specialists.

    In 1996, the regional public organization "Academy of Inventions" was established and registered with the Russian Ministry of Justice, the dynamic development of which attracted major inventors and scientists-authors of scientific discoveries from many regions of Russia and foreign countries. In 1998 on its basis the International Union of Public Associations "International Academy of Authors of Scientific Inventions and Discoveries" appeared (Certificate of registration by the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation № 3518 from March 26, 1998) In 2002, in connection with changes in legislation of Russia, IAASID was re-registered to the International Union of Public Associations "International Public Academy of Authors of Scientific Discoveries and Inventions" (Certificate of registration by the Ministry of Justice № 3518 of January 8, 2002).
